Grit Lab – Taiwan (GLT) is a nonprofit whose mission is to develop and offer for free to teachers EFL/ESL curricula that foreground character so that students are empowered with virtuous character and, with grit, to do good for a better world. Join us!

What Our Curricula Work Toward：

1.           Evidence-based curricula along with a refining process based on the evaluative information (i.e., Teaching × Research Cooperation Model).

2.           Courses that foreground both academic skills and virtuous character development.

3.          Character-oriented teaching and learning: The instructional process and the activities per se build character.

Ø  An effective Learning mode of Cooperative Learning Approach Adopted

Ø  Effective Teaching Designs with Engagement-Thinking-Production (i.e., ETP) as Goals: All activities are designed to foster engaged learning, thinking, and help students improve their learning by having them write and/or speak.  

Ø  An effective teaching strategy of Toward Social Aspirations Instruction (i.e., TSAI) applied, which encourages students to attain

(1)        Positive Social Interdependence &

(2)       Prosocial Goals in a

(3)       Shame-free Context.
